Chipo Chikomo is a leading social entrepreneur whose vision is to revolutionize the feminine hygiene industry in Zimbabwe. She is the CEO of Earth’s Child Co. a for profit business which manufactures washable pads and distributes menstrual cups. She is also the founder of Nhanga Trust a social enterprise which ensures schoolgirls in rural areas and female prison inmates have access to menstrual products.
She has excellent skills in creating strategic partnerships. Her partnerships include Days for Girls International USA, Saalt Menstrual Cup Co, Real Relief Denmark, SHE Pads USA, Lena Cups USA and Zimbabwe Prison Services. Her clientele include the Australian Embassy, Nandos among many others. In 2013 she received a full scholarship in Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship by kanthari Institute in India. Kanthari Institute was founded by world renowned Sabriye Tenberken who is a 2005 Noble Peace Prize Nominee.
In 2015 she was the only female amongst five USADF grant competition winners in Zimbabwe. Chipo was part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship 2016 a flagship program by President Barak Obama. She participated in the Business and Entrepreneurship track at the University of Iowa in USA. Chipo holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology and Sociology from Africa University; she was featured in the 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary Newsletter 2017 (Special Edition). In 2018 she was one of the Green Innovation Youth winners in Zimbabwe and went on to win the Best Eco-innovation in Zimbabwe 2019 by the Environmental Management Agency of Zimbabwe. She was profiled in the inaugural Founding Book of 100 young women under 40yrs in Zimbabwe in 2021. She was the only woman to win the Value Creation Challenge by Old Mutual in 2021 she did her final pitch while nine months pregnant and a couple of hours before giving birth to a bouncing baby boy. Ana is the Vice Chair of Services with the South Florida Manufacturers Association, and she is passionate about helping US manufacturers achieve business excellence to continue to invent and produce the products that improve our lives. Ana’s mission is to help people sync their dreams to actions via employment, training, coaching, mentorship and volunteering. Ana’s leadership journey of nearly 20 years compounded experiences and lessons that can add value to other leaders and teams. She believes in and practices a people-centric leadership approach grounded in deep values and focused on employee happiness and fulfillment. Ana has a passion for serving, and she contributes to organizations that help women, children, animals and business. She is an avid cook and an all-around happy and positive person.

Throughout my life, I’ve been very fortunate to be afforded different opportunities which I believe has given me a very strong understanding of how to make an impact in government, especially at a local level. Beginning in high school, I had the opportunity to serve in multiple leadership roles with the City of Clearwater, FL including the Charter Review Committee, and with the City of Largo, FL on the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee. At the University of South Florida, I’ve been fortunate to continue my involvement by serving as the Campus Governor on the St. Petersburg Campus where I oversaw various initiatives relating to students, and served as their direct representative. Additionally, for the last year, I had the pleasure to serve as the District Office Manager for now-former United States Congressman Charlie Crist where I helped to oversee daily office activities. Although anyone can have these types of experiences, I believe what sets me apart is my strong knowledge base while still being in college, and how I’ve leveraged that in attempts to get my fellow youth peers more engaged in their communities and civic advocacy in general.
